佩斯大學是一所私立的綜合性大學，建於1906年，位於世界最大的經濟金融中心紐約市，是紐約州面積最大的私立綜合性大學之一。擁有兩個獨立校園，其中一個位於紐約市中心曼哈頓華爾街，另外一個位於紐約近郊的Westchester，校園環境優美，生活設備完善。充分利用身處紐約這個國際性大都市的金融、藝術、科技中心等優勢，讓學生獲益匪淺，同時為學生提供著無與倫比的機會。
主要有六個學院，包括：文理學院、電腦和資訊系統學院、護理學院、商學院、教育學院、法學院，都是具有相當的教學水平。商學院的商科和會計學課目都得到了AACSB認證，全世界只有3%的商學院擁有同等資格。其特色是小班教學、出色的教師隊伍、應用型研究、實習機會，以及創造性的課程設置。商學院下設五個系：會計、金融和經濟學、法律研究和稅收、管理和管理學、市場學，學士課程和研究生課程覆蓋了商業研究的各個方向。MBA 項目具有自己的特色，結合了理論知識和實踐經驗的傳授，強調全球化和科技化對於商業操作的影響，幫助學生在團隊合作中進行學習。學生可以選擇如下專業方向，包括：會計、金融管理、信息系統、國際商務、國際經濟學、管理、市場、稅收。學生還可以同時選擇兩個專業方向進行學習。
